Physiotherapy

The management of acute and chronic pain in patients, particularly the elderly, is a priority in physio-therapeutic treatment. The assessment of pain is a key factor in the patient's adherence to rehabilitation, reducing the negative repercussions on functional and biopsychosocial aspects. the patient has a certain and unique power over the evolution of his problem. The physiotherapist must teach the patient to manage their own pain. Photomodulation is now part of everyday physiotherapy practice in many protocols. Daily care photomodulation supports athletes at every stage of their career to prevent injuries and improve re-athletisation.

Recommendations :

-Do not combine different photomodulation protocols on the same area.
-Clean the device with normal soap after use.
-Repeat the stimulation on the other painful areas
-Use the pain protocol before in case of acute pain.
-Follow up with your physiotherapist

Recovery

The tendinopathy protocol aims to reduce post-traumatic inflammation of the tendon. It offers a treatment based on two wavelengths, red light and near-infrared light, for their anti-inflammatory properties. The device is placed directly on the painful area of the tendon.

Tendinopathy

The aim of the protocol is to promote sports recovery and facilitate muscle recovery after exercise. The protocol uses a combination of red and infrared wavelengths for deep action down to the injured muscle. The device is kept in direct contact with the skin on the most painful area.

Inflammation

The inflammation protocol is designed to reduce inflammation caused by trauma. It offers a treatment based solely on high-intensity red light to regulate the production of pro- and anti-inflammatory factors. The device is in direct contact with the skin in the area where inflammatory pain is most intense. Its action is amplified at subcutaneous level and spread over the whole area.

Arthritis

The Arthritis protocol relieves inflammatory pain and penetrates deep into the joint to irradiate the entire area. The red wavelength acts on the dermis to de-inflame the hot, swollen area, while the high-power near-infrared wavelength acts on the joint to regulate inflammatory factors. The device is glued to the skin and covers the entire area concerned. It is recommended to stimulate two symmetrically opposed areas of the site to be treated.

Sprain

The protocol provides 2 phases in order to restore mobility to the joint, deflates the area and relieves pain at rest. Red and near-infrared wavelengths are used at specific irradiations to optimise sprain healing. The device can be placed a centimeter away when using creams. Check the photosensitivity of these substances with your therapist. It is recommended to stimulate two symmetrically opposite areas of the sprain.
